Beeswax has the ability to form a protective layer on the surface of the skin and, when sourced sustainably, is a wonderful addition to many skincare products.

According to Webmd, when mixed with Olive Oil and Alkana, beeswax has the ability to speed up the healing process of burns. It also reduces the painful itching associated with burns. For serious burns, however, it is best to consult a healthcare professional.

4. Beeswax helps with eczema

Beeswax is know for its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to soothe skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, etc. According to Well+Good, treatment with a mixture of beeswax, raw honey and olive oil results in significant improvement in the skin condition of those suffering from eczema.

5. Beeswax is great for wrinkles

Beeswax contains Vitamin A, which is know to reduce wrinkles and fine lines Used in a lotion form and at the correct percentage, it can be a great addition to a regular skincare regime!
